Domo Arigato gozaimashita!

Hi, Brendon, thanks for posting! Our teen class is ages 12-16 right now, so you'd fit right in. The teens train together with the adult class on Saturday, so you can have the chance to practice with bigger guys too. Right now, the teen class is a great size, with about half guys and half girls. Check out the schedule HERE and stop by to watch or take a free sample class sometime!

Anthony, we'd love to have you at the dojo! All kinds of students train together at Budo Kai. Just send a message to Sensei here if you'd like more information: Contact Us. Or, show up any evening if you'd like to watch or take a free class. Hope to see you soon!

I have always wanted to join this karate school, but I am not sure if my body type would allow me to practice karate.. I am 5'10 and about 260lbs, so I am the short stocky type. Would it be possible? By the way this website looks sweet!

Congradulations on a very humble and respectable "Okinawa Goju Karate-do" web page. Its simplicity speaks volumes for our style and Master Miyagi. I also have a professional Goju dojo here in Winnipeg, Canada. Drop a line if you have the chance. Would appreciate learning about your lineage and exchanging some ideas. Best regards. Sensei Kim Marshall, President and Chief Instructor.
